PE Blog Post!

This is a PE blogpost about what we did. I went with Mrs Love for PE. We played this game that was like a combination of cricket and T-ball. There were bowlers and batters. I was captain for my team and Amos was captain for his team. My team started as fielders and Amos team was batters. The game continued for a while and is was repetitive but really fun and tiring. The end score was 10 : 12 to Amos's team.

Finish these starters:

• Something I enjoyed about my project was finding new things about handball that I don’t know. Because I didn’t know much about handball and I learnt a lot from this task.

• The most challenging thing about my project was finding things that was not easy to write down and things that are obvious. Because I wanted it to be interesting like that people won’t know anything about.

• The main skill I got better at was Writing interesting facts for anyone. I got better at it by using my imitation muscle from the internet but I didn’t copy and paste.

• Something interesting I learnt was is that some things are based of different genders.                    

• What I would most like to change about my project is add more slides and drawings. Because it was fun and I like drawing and adding more facts and things like that.

• I would like to do my next PBL about SCIENCE

Choose three learning muscles and explain how you used them during your PBL.

Revising because I went back and edited the things that were wrong.

Managing Distractions because I did my work while my friends were talking to me and also I did my work while people did naughty things.

Imitation because when I got stuck I looked at mac’s for an example.

Hi Brayden here and today I am going to describe my project. So I did a slide about handball with facts, Equipment and Rules. I like what I have done because some things in my project you might not know about. So that's why I want you to read my project and I hope you learn things about it. There are facts from websites that I took a while getting them all. I gathered the information from videos and the internet. I hope you end up liking the sport because it’s a fun sport. I hope you enjoy my project BYE!

Handball Notes

HANDBALL

This is my handball notes that I did with my friend Oscar W. We did about the sport handball that is an Olympic Sport. We were on a video that got us all these notes. Me and Oscar did well together and collected a lot of notes. I am going to be using this in my project later on.

New Bike/Bike Ride

New Bike/Bike Ride

In the holidays I got a new bike. It is called the Black Rocket and it has 7x3 gears like there is 3 on the left and there is 7 on the right. I also got a new helmet that I got the next day. Then on Sunday me, Dad and Maddy went for a bike ride around town. Dad asked us if we wanted bike over to Havelock for fun so me and Mads said YES!! We were biking for like a hour and a half  and Whoosh the wind was howling while I was biking. I nearly fell off and I got so tired from riding through the wind. I really wanted to play Pokemon Go so I can beat my Dad but I couldn't trust myself because I would 100% drop it. After that I got home and I got into warm clothes and had dinner and went to bed.

Taylor's 10th Birthday

Taylor’s Birthday!

On Saturday the 4th of July it was Taylor’s birthday and Taylor turned ten. Taylor invited me to Laser force and we played two games. Taylor was Ninja for the first game and I was Maximus, also for the first game. Taylor was Yoda in the second game and I was Cyborg.

After the game we headed to McDonald's and had dinner there, Taylor and I had a Chicken Mac combo with a raspberry, coke and sprite in our drinks!

When we had finished we headed back home and watched Jurassic World but we mostly played on our computers. It was a fun time!

In the morning, Taylor and I played on the Wii for a bit, then Taylor's mum woke us up and made us pancakes for breakfast with bananas and maple syrup on top.

When we had finished we played on the Wii again and we played Wii sports. Our favorite sport on the Wii was tennis.

Later we went into Taylor's little sister's room and made a video for our channels!

We made some on HAPPY WHEELS! and did a lot of sword throws, ball throws and Pogo jumps.

Soon we headed outside and made a video of Taylor and I playing football. Sophie (Taylor's little sister) was filming us on Taylor's Tablet. She was a bit bumpy but we got there!

After that we played the Wii for a little bit longer

(sport:tennis), then we all packed up and Taylor took me home!

Maths Task

SCHOOL GARDEN

This task is about showing how to solve multiplication problems.

Some students are setting up a school garden.

Do not use a calculator to answer the maths problems below.

a)   Hohepa planted 9 rows with 8 tomato plants in each row.

Show how to work out how many tomato plants he planted altogether.

9 x 8 = 72 9 x 2 = 18 9 x 2 = 18 9 x 2 = 18 9 x 2 = 18 18 + 18 = 36 18 + 18 = 36 36 + 36 = 72 Answer: 72

b) Paul planted 7 rows with 20 carrots in each row.

Show how to work out how many carrots he planted altogether.

c)   Iritana planted 5 rows with 14 lettuces in each row.

Production Reflection

Reflection for the Production Journey Through The Legends

Something I was pleased with was when the smoke machine went on because it looked really cool when it went on and I think I heard some wows.

I really enjoyed learning new actions with Miss Eglinton     

because we all would have no actions at all.

Something I found hard was to remember my line  

because I not very good at remembering things.

Something that made me think was we to come on.

Something I want to get better at is moving when I say my line.

My favorite part of the production was when the whales had to get their hills because the smoke machine looked really cool over them.

My best bit of feedback for the production was from Miss Eglinton.     

She said to me that “Great actions that you came up with”.          :)
